29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) On or about October 13, 2020, on the northeast corner of the building, where employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 15 feet when installing metal gutters near an unprotected edge without a fall protection system. Three Brothers Steel And Drywall was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1199117, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 21, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 8177 S. Broadway St. Tyler, TX, 75703.
