29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. (a) 8783 Congdon Hill Dr. Alburtis, PA., Roof: On or about October 20, 2020, employees installing down-spouts and metal stripping along a parapet wall and roof edge on the flat roof of a 40-foot high commercial building were not utilizing a conventional fall protection system or an alternative method to prevent falling. EASTERN ROOFING SYSTEMS, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) WHICH WAS CONATAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1205527, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 27 APR 2017, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 200 Tigue Street DUNMORE, PA 18512 Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
