On or about October 30, 2020, located at 6471 Nature Nook Drive, Lot 24, Lewis Center, Ohio: the employer did not initiate and maintain an effective safety and health program to ensure hazard detection and correction, while employees installed framing lumber and OSB sheathing in between the rafters and roof top of a new build residential home. The employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 9 feet 11 inches to the ground level. Rodriguez Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1462823, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 09, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 715 Lorenzo Drive, Marysville, Ohio 43041.

On or about October 30, 2020, located at 6471 Nature Nook Drive, Lot 24, Lewis Center, Ohio: the employer failed to instruct two employees on the avoidance of unsafe conditions, while employees installed framing lumber and OSB sheathing in between the rafters and roof top of a new build residential home. The employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 9 feet 11 inches to the ground level. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502. a. On or about October 30, 2020, located at 6471 Nature Nook Drive, Lot 24, Lewis Center, Ohio: the employer failed to ensure that two employees who worked in between the rafters and one on the roof top of the first floor level of a new build residential home, were protected from falling to the ground level. The employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 9 feet 11 inches to the ground level. Rodriguez Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1462823, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on April 09, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 715 Lorenzo Drive, Marysville, Ohio 43041.
