29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2):The floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. When wet processes are used, drainage must be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats must be provided. a. Jiffy Lube Store #427, 1247 S. Hairston Road, Stone Mountain, GA (Pit Area) - Employees were exposed to slip hazard. Employees are required to change oil in the shop area which drips down into the lower pit area creating a puddle. Employees walk through the oil continuously throughout the day, tracking the oil throughout the pit area, on or about November 05, 2020.

29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):(1) Unprotected sides and edges. (i) Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the following: a. Jiffy Lube Store #427, 1247 S. Hairston Road, Stone Mountain, GA (Upper Level) - Employees were exposed to fall hazard. employees (lube technicians) walking in close proximity to an unguarded floor opening when not being used. The flooring opening leads to the underground pit where employees performed oil changes and minor maintenance. The floor opening net/cover which serves as a means of fall protection was not fully covering the 3ft. wide opening, exposing employees to a 7ft. fall to pit below, on or about November 05, 2020.
