On or about December 8, 2020, an employee welding was exposed to continuous noise at 73.1% of the action level (time weighted average sound level of 85 dBA) or equivalent sound level of approximately 88.9 dBA during the 422 minute sampling period; exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 58 minutes not sampled. b). On or about December 8, 2020, an employee welding was exposed to continuous noise at 108.6% of the action level (time weighted average sound level of 85 dBA) or equivalent sound level of approximately 91.8 dBA during the 425 minute sampling period; exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 55 minutes not sampled.
