29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about November 6, 2020, the employer, Garnica, LLC, did not ensure each employee working above 6 feet on a residential home were protected from fall hazards. Six (6) employees were found with no fall protection systems in place at heights of 12 feet on the first tier and greater than 25 feet on the second tier of the home located at 8347 Carr St in Littleton, CO. The employer, Garnica, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1457078, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 19, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1435 Sidewinder Circle in Castle Rock, CO. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
