29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: At jobsite located at 1031 Waters Edge Derby KS , employees engaged in framing activities with the use of pneumatic nail guns were exposed to struck-by hazards in that employees did not utilized eye protection. The Eugene Hickey dba Gene Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1463207, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 03-24-2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1000 Cross Creek Derby Kansas 67037. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(2) abatement of the above violation was verified at time of inspection, no certification is required.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At jobsite located at 1031 Waters Edge Derby Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet from the roof to the ground in that fall protection was not utilized. The Eugene Hickey dba Gene Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1463207, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 03-24-2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1000 Cross Creek Derby Kansas 67037. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(2) abatement of the above violation was verified at time of inspection, no certification is required.
