29 CFR  1926.62(d)(1)(i):Each employer who had a workplace or operation covered by 29 CFR 1926.62 did not initially determine if any employee was exposed to lead at or above the action level of 30 micrograms per cubic meter of air (30 �?g/m3) calculated as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA):  At a worksite located at 3105 (Tycor Building), 3115-3133 (Shankman Building), and 3125-3133 (Michaelson Building) Troost Ave Kansas City, MO 64109: Employees were exposed to lead containing materials. The employer failed to determine if any employees may be exposed to lead at above the action level while conducting demolition and  renovation operations. Employees were manually altering and removing bricks from interior walls, preparing window materials, and were removing demolition debris. This was documented on December 3, 2020 and December 16, 2020.  Compass Resources LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard ,which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1358797, citation number 1, item number 5a and was affirmed as a final order on 5/02/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 3119 to 3123 (Shankman Building) and 3125-3133 (Michaelson Building), Kansas City MO 64109.

29 CFR  1926.62(d)(1)(iii):The employer did not collect personal samples representative of a full shift, including at least one sample for each job classification in each work area, either for each shift or for the shift with the highest exposure level:  At the worksite located 3105 (Tycor Building), 3115-3123 (Shankman Building), and 3125-3133 ( Michaelson Building), Kansas City, MO 64109. Employees were exposed to lead containing materials. The employer failed to determine if any employees may be exposed to lead at or above the action level while conducting demolition and renovation operations of the interior portions of the buildings. Employees were manually altering and removing bricks from interior walls, preparing window materials, and were removing demolition debris. No personal full shift air sampling was performed for each job classification or for the shift with the highest exposure for any of the employees at the work site.  This was documented on December 3, 2020 and December 16, 2020.
