29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  (a) Mill: On December 22, 2020 and at times prior, employees at the edger would straighten boards by hand along a moving conveyor exposed to pinch points at sections of the chain where there were gaps in the trough due to shaft placement.  (b) Mill: On December 22, 2020 and at times prior, employees at the edger would straighten boards by hand along a moving conveyor exposed to pinch points at sections where the chain did not set flush within the trough.
