29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Top and Bottom Services, LLC located at 335 Carina Circle in Loveland, CO 80537: On or about November 4, 2020, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees engaged in re-roofing of a two story residential home were protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Four roofers were working at levels between 15 and 25 feet removing and preparing to install roofing shingles without the use of fall protection. This condition exposed employees to falls up to 25 feet. Top and Bottom Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1357044, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/01/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1421 Soda Creek Ct in Fort Collins, CO 80526.
