29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   1. Employees performing roofing work are not protected from fall hazards through the use of a fall protection system.  The employer fails to ensure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on or about January 21, 2021, at 149 Azure Court, Daytona Beach, Florida 32124, when employees performing roofing work on a one-story residential structure, without the use of conventional fall protection, are exposed to a fall hazard up to 10-feet.  The DDR Quality Roofing & Sheetmetal, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1441596, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on January 21, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1851 Oak Place, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136.
