29 CFR 1910.268(b)(7): The employer did not ensure that no employee approached or took any conductive object closer to any electrically energized overhead power lines and parts than prescribed in Table R-2 or in (i) - (iii) of this section: a) Jobsite, 1598 Ondo Road, Homer City, PA 15748: On or about January 28, 2021, an employee was exposed to an electrical shock hazard while installing fiber optic cable to a utility pole (pole number 16306-X). The employer did not ensure that the employee maintained a minimum distance of at least 36 inches as required by Table R-2 of this part for 23 kV overhead power lines. An employee was injured after receiving an electrical shock while moving the bucket of a Telsta T40C (serial number: 00400011) bucket truck in close proximity to energized (23 kV) overhead power lines. Salsgiver, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.268(b)(7), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1132999 citation number 1 item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on September 20, 2016 with respect to a workplace located at 116 East Gilmore Road, Grove City, PA 16127.
