29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee was using eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. a) J Construction 17684 Eclipse St., Broomfield, CO 80023: On and before February 4, 2021, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that three employees were observed conducting framing operations on a new residential construction without the use of eye or face protection operating pneumatic nail guns. The employer did not protect employees against hazards from flying objects. This condition exposed employees to projectile hazards to the eyes.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) J Construction 17684 Eclipse St., Broomfield, CO 80023: On and before February 4, 2021, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that three employees were observed conducting framing operations on a new residential construction without the use of personal fall arrest systems. The employer did not protect employees against falls at heights over 10 feet. This condition exposed employees to head injuries and broken bones.
