29 CFR  1926.100(a):Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets.  On or about February 3, 2021, during the installation of siding material at a job site located at 5184 Duxbury Drive, Copley OH 44321: the employer did not ensure employees working on the ground were protected from possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, falling debris from working surfaces height of approximately 12.6 feet.   Brick Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.100(a) (Head Protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1318327, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/03/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 5181 Duxbury, Akron, OH 44321.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   On or about February 3, 2021, during the installation of siding material at a job site located at 5184 Duxbury Drive, Copley, OH 44321; the employer did not ensure employees installing siding on a single family home were protected from a fall of approximately 12.6 feet by utilizing a fall protection system.   Brick Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1318327, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/03/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 5181 Duxbury, Akron, OH 44321.
