29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by pinch points: (a) Facility, 2709 Route 764, Duncansville, PA; On or about February 3, 2021 the Denison Multi-Press machine 100490 did not have guard(s) on the stripper bar(s) to protect the operator from a pinch point created between the bars and part. An employee attempt to remove a part during the upstroke of the ram and got their left ring finger pinched between the part and stripper bar resulting in an amputation to the tip of the finger.
