29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. On or about February 23, 2021, during the installation of roof flashing and siding material at a job site located at 2063 Lanterman Cir, Hinckley, Ohio 44233; during the installation of roof flashing and siding material, the employer did not ensure employees working on the ground were protected from possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, falling debris from working surfaces of heights approximately 11.7 feet.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502. On or about February 23, 2021, during the installation of roof flashing and siding material at a job site located at 2063 Lanterman Cir, Hinckley, Ohio 44233; the employer did not ensure employees working on a roof of a single family home were protected from a fall of approximately 11.7 feet by utilizing a fall protection system.
