29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):"Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about March 02, 2021, employees were observed working on the roof of a barn at "Berry's Bloom" located at 2060 Granger Rd, Medina, OH, 44256, and were exposed to an approximate fall of 18 ft. The employer did not ensure that the employees were utilizing PFAS or protected by any form of fall protection.
