29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Jobsite located at 2110 Chestnut St. Philadelphia, PA - 19103: The employer did not ensure that the employees were using a fall protection system while conducting roofing operations on a steep roof approx. 47ft. above ground level, thus exposing the employees to a fall hazard. This condition was observed on or about March 4, 2021. HK & Son Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or equivalent, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1170531, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 30, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 639 E. Township Line Rd. Havertown, PA - 19083.
