29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: (a) Floor & D�cor at 7350 W 52nd Ave Arvada, CO 80002: On or before 3/5/21 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that a Bosch tablesaw was not equipped with an adjustable hood over the blade. The hood was stowed under the saw and was not used. This condition exposed employees to amputation and kickback hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item. See enclosed "Certification of Corrective Actions Worksheet."

29 CFR 1910.213(c)(3): Hand-fed ripsaw(s) did not have non kickback fingers or dogs so located as to oppose the thrust or tendency of the saw to pick up the material or to throw it back toward the operator: (a) Floor & D�cor at 7350 W 52nd Ave Arvada, CO 80002: On or before 3/5/21 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that a Bosch tablesaw was not equipped with non-kickback fingers designed to prevent kickback of material. The assembly was stowed under the saw and was not used. This condition exposed employees to kickback hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
