29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Cooked Facility #118, Grinding Room, Line 1, Meat Block Lift: Employees were exposed to an amputation hazard from the pinch point between the moving meat block lift platform and the stationary meat unboxing table, on or about March 10, 2021. b) Cooked Facility #118, Grinding Room, Line 1, Meat Block Lift: Employees were exposed to an amputation hazard from the pinch point between the lift's moving shaft assembly and the lift's stationary track, on or about March 10, 2021. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
