New residential construction located on Lot #53, Top plates: On or about 03/15/2021, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in roof truss installation.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:    New residential construction located on Lot #53, Top plates: On or about 03/15/2021, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 22-feet, 1-inch to the lower level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees using the top plates as a walking/working surface to set new roof trusses.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   New residential construction located on Lot #53, Rough opening for stairwell between first and second floors: On or about 03/15/2021, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 11-feet, 3-inches to the lower concrete slab, in that a ladder which extended at least 3-feet past the second floor landing was not provided to allow safe access on and off the second level.

29 CFR  1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:ALLEGED VIOLATION DESCRIPTION (A.V.D.):    New residential construction located on Lot #53,  Temporary electrical service box: On or about 03/15/2021, the employer failed to inspect electrical equipment including extension cords and electric air compressor, in that flexible cords were missing ground pins and the compressor used had live circuits protruding from the motor compartment creating a potential shock hazard if not removed or repaired.
