29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a) Work site was located at Atkins-Kent-Pediatric Rehabilitation Suite 210; 101 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, NJ 07039 Employee was exposed to struck by hazards as they were wearing glasses that were non-rated for the work they were performing with a Klein Tools D2000-9NE Lineman's Pliers. The manufacturer requires rated safety glasses while using this tool. Violation occurred on or about March 9, 2021
