29 CFR 1926.652(b)(3)(i): The designs of sloping or benching systems were not selected from and in accordance with tabulated data, such as tables and charts. a) Intersection of High Blvd & Elkins Ave., Shillington, PA 19607 - East Trench Box - The employer did not protect employees, who were working inside the trench, from loose rock and soil , the trench box was not at least 18 inches above the grade, on or about March 23, 2021. b) Intersection of High Blvd & Elkins Ave., Shillington, PA 19607 - West Trench Box - The employer did not protect employees, who were working inside the trench, from loose rock and soil , the trench box was not at least 18 inches above the grade, on or about March 23, 2021. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
