Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Luis Alfonso Neaves located at 11551 Poppyseed Drive, Plain City, OH 43064: On and preceding March 23, 2021, the employer did not ensure that employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower level were protected from falls. Carpenters were installing floor sheathing to the second story. The employees were not utilizing any means of fall protection which exposed them to falls up to 12 feet, 6 inches.
