29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 1251 Airport Rd. Allentown, PA., Roof.: On or about March 25, 2021, employees were doing spout repair work along the edge of a one-story commercial flat-roof structure, but fall protection was not in place and employees were exposed to an unguarded fall hazard of 18 feet. Peach State Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1276188, Citation 1 Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 16, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1300 Browns Bridge Rd Gainesville, GA 30501.
