29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3):The employer shall assure that portable fire extinguishers are subjected to an annual maintenance check. a) On or about April 1, 2021 the employer did not ensure that the ABC (Dry Chem) fire extinguisher "1" behind the cashier counter was subjected to an annual maintenance check. The extinguisher tag indicated it was inspected in July 2019. b) On or about April 1, 2021 the employer did not ensure that the Badger ABC (Dry Chem) fire extinguisher mounted next to the restrooms was subjected to an annual maintenance check. The extinguisher tag indicated it was inspected in July 2019. c) On or about April 1, 2021 the employer did not ensure that the ABC (Dry Chem) fire extinguisher "4" mounted in the rear corner of the store was subjected to an annual maintenance check. The extinguisher tag indicated it was inspected in July 2019. DG Retail, LLC dba Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1450479, Citation Number 1, Item 3, and was affirmed as a Final Order on April 8, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 1111 N Cole Street, Bushnell, Illinois 61422. DG Retail, LLC. dba Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1439273, Citation Number 2, Item 2, and was affirmed as a Final Order on March 27, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 354 E Main Street, Galesburg, Illinois 61401. Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1105836, Citation Number 2, Item 3, and was affirmed as a Final Order on April 27, 2016 with respect to a workplace located at 34300 MS-35, Vaiden, Mississippi 39176.
