Portions of the blade outside the clamping area were not guarded in accordance with this standard. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.

(a) Neiman Enterprises, Inc. dba Montrose Forest Products, LLC at 11925 6530 Road Montrose, CO 81401: On or before 4/6/21 the employer did not ensure that the walkway parallel to the circular bucking saw and metal detector was equipped with a guard rail on that side. This condition exposed employees to struck by and amputation hazards. (b) Neiman Enterprises, Inc. dba Montrose Forest Products, LLC at 11925 6530 Road Montrose, CO 81401: On or before 4/6/21 the employer did not ensure that the walkway between the metal detector and incline was equipped with a guard rail on that side. This condition exposed employees to struck by hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
