The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated.  On or about April 7, 2021, an employee was exposed to a fall of approximately 21 feet while performing roofing activities on a new commercial building located at 1424 Columbia Road, Valley City, Ohio 44280.  The employee was working from an articulating lift and the employer did not ensure that he was using fall protection.
