29 C.F.R. � 1910.269(c)(4)(i): The job briefing was not satisfactory and the employer did not ensure employees were cognizant of recognized hazards involved in the job. a) In The Procter and Gamble Paper Products Co. Building 79, Albany, Georgia: On or about March 24, 2021, the employer did not conduct a joint briefing/discussion with site owner (Procter & Gamble) and the local electric distribution company (Georgia Power), which had a substation located upstream of Building 79. Employees were not briefed before commencing work and when returning from a break to ensure that employees' verification of isolation and de-energization of the switchgear equipment to be worked on had been accomplished and/or maintained by Georgia Power and/or Procter & Gamble, thus exposing employees to electrical hazards.

Building 79, Albany, Georgia: On or about March 24, 2021, prior to beginning preventive maintenance work, the employer did not ensure employees utilized the appropriate personal protective equipment while performing duplicative verification testing on hazardous energy sources, of approximately 13,000 volts, thereby exposing employees to potential electrical shock and arc flash hazards during verification.
