Wabtec U.S. Rail, Inc., on or about November 2nd, 2020 - The employer failed to establish a reasonable injury or illness reporting policy in that: 1. On or about November 2nd, 2020, Wabtec U.S. Rail, Inc. suspended an employee (Production Technician) without pay for failing to report an injury at the time of the workplace exposure even though the employee reported the injury as soon as practicable after the injury became apparent. 2. Wabtec U.S. Rail, Inc., on or about November 2nd, 2020, the Employer did not clearly inform managers about how to implement procedures related to late reporting of certain types of injuries: 1. On or about November 2nd, 2020, the employer enforced a strict 24-hour reporting policy against an employee who reported a work-related injury more than 24 hours after the injury occurred, suspending the employee without pay and putting a disciplinary letter in employee�s personnel file. 2.
