29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: Job Trailer: A fire extinguisher was on the floor of the trailer and not mounted or secured to prevent displacement. The employer had not mounted the fire extinguisher so that is was readily accessible and prevented from being accidentally discharged. Employees were exposed to injuries caused by the accidental discharge of the fire extinguisher and from fire hazards if they can not located the fire extinguisher.
