Gabriella Way., Newton, NJ Employees working on the roof of a residential structure without fall protection were exposed to an approximate 25ft. fall hazard while engaged in construction activities, on or about 04/20/2021. 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. a.) Gabriella Way., Newton, NJ Employees engaged in construction activities accessed a roof by utilizing an extension ladder that was only extended approximately 18 inches above the landing surface which exposed them to an approximate 25ft fall hazard, on or about 04/20/2021. StarMax Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1466181, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/28/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Joseph Drive Newton, NJ 07860.
