29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Zamora Construction, Inc. at 3280 Offbeaten Pl. Castle Rock, CO 80108: On or before 5/8/21 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that employees framing and sheathing a 2 story single family home did not use fall protection or guard rails. The unfinished stairwell was unguarded, leading to the concrete basement floor. These conditions exposed employees to fall hazards of 12 feet and 21 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement Certification is required for this item. See enclosed "Certification of Corrective Actions Worksheet."

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: (a) Zamora Construction, Inc. at 3280 Offbeaten Pl. Castle Rock, CO 80108: On or before 5/8/21 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that employees framing and sheathing a 2 story single family home accessed the second story by climbing up and down a step ladder, using the top and top steps as steps. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of 10 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement Certification is required for this item. See enclosed "Certification of Corrective Actions Worksheet."
