29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: a- 1000 Shoal Road, Toms River NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 22 feet to the surface below, when walking/working at and near the unprotected edges of a residential structure's second and third story porches without the use of fall protection. Condition observed on or about 05/11/21. NOTE: IN ADDTION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
