29 CFR 1915.77(c): When employees were working aloft, or elsewhere at elevations more than 5 feet above a solid surface, the employer did not provide either scaffolds or a sloping ladder, meeting the requirements of Subpart E-Scaffolds, Ladders, and Other Working Surfaces, to afford safe footing, or the employees were not protected by safety belts and lifelines meeting the requirements of 1915.159 and 1915.160: USS BOXER LHD-4, Flight Deck, AFT Mass Radar Platform: On or before May 25, 2021 employee(s) were applying non skid peal and stick on the radar platform near a unprotected leading edge more then 5 feet above a solid surface. The employer did not ensure employees were protected by guardrail and/or lifelines to prevent falls to a lower level. Employee(s) were exposed to fall hazard(s)
