29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about May 23, 2021 Sage Products, LLC failed to provide adequate methods of machine guarding to protect employees when hand removing sheet plastic wrapping from conveyer parts with a chain and sprocket drive on the CB3 Line. This exposed employees to caught in hazards most likely to result in amputations and lacerations. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
