29 CFR 1910.178(n)(6):The driver shall be required to look in the direction of, and keep a clear view of the path of travel. On 5/20/2021 a forklift operator was rearranging pallets outside at the pallet stacking area utilizing a Caterpillar forklift (model #E5000). During this process the operator began backing up without looking in the direction of travel and the forklift ran over an employee's right foot.
