29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, and service rooms are not kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition. a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip and fall hazards, as demonstrated on or about June 10, 2021, in the main storage room/receiving room, where employees move and retrieve stock. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure boxes of stored product are kept in an orderly manner. b) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip and fall hazards, as demonstrated on or about June 10, 2021, in the aisles of the main store area, where employees traverse, and move and stock product. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that boxes of product, empty boxes, u-boats, and roll-tainers are kept in an orderly manner. c) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip, fall and struck-by hazards, as demonstrated on or about June 10, 2021, in the front storage room where employees store and retrieve shelving parts used throughout the store. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that shelving equipment is kept in an orderly manner. d) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip, fall and struck-by hazards as demonstrated on or about June 10, 2021, in the front storage room where employees store and retrieve shelving parts used throughout the store.
