29 CFR 1926.403(b)(2): Listed, labeled, or certified equipment was not installed and used in accordance with instructions included in the listing, labeling, or certification: Inside of the building: A relocatable power tap (power strip) designed for low amperage computer use was connected to an extension cord to charge the battery of a hand held Dewalt drill battery. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) did not certify the relocatable power tap for construction site use and requires relocatable power taps to be directly connected to a permanently installed branch circuit receptacle (outlet). Employees were exposed to fire hazards.
