29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level. a) On our around June 24, 2021 the exit route in the Zone 1 stocking area was restricted in that materials, such as carts, packing straps, and boxes were placed in the exit route obstructing access to the emergency exit door.

29 CFR 1910.176(c): Housekeeping. Storage areas shall be kept free from accumulation of materials that constitute hazards from tripping, fire, explosion, or pest harborage. Vegetation control will be exercised when necessary. a) On or around June 24, 2021 in Zone 1 of the facility the storage racking aisle-ways were not kept free from trip hazards, in the product, skids and boxes were stored on the floor, reducing some walk areas down to 14 inches in width.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): 600 Volts, nominal, or less. Space about electric equipment. Working space required by this standard may not be used for storage. When normally enclosed live parts are exposed for inspection or servicing, the working space if in a passageway or general open space, shall be suitably guarded. a) On or about June 24, 2021 the employer did not ensure that working space in front of their 480-volt electrical panel, supplying power to the fans in Zone 1 was not used for storage in that skids of material was stored in front of the electrical panel.
