On or about June 25, 2021, and at times prior thereto, employees were operating machines on the production floor that were powered using flexible cables instead of fixed wiring, exposing employees to hazards of electrical shock.

29 CFR 1910.242(b):Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i. On or about June 25, 2021, and at times prior thereto, in the production warehouse, employees used compressed air for cleaning purposes in which the air pressure measured at over 30 psi, exposing the employees to the hazard of being struck by the jet stream or foreign bodies in the eye(s). American Surfacing Materials, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1421099, citation number 1 , item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 11-13-2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2101 Baker Blvd., Temple, Tx 76501.
