29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a)1188 Cayadutta St. Fonda, NY-On or about June 29, 2021, at the main manufacturing facility an employee was conducting servicing on a Belco (Ser No 26658-97) extrusion press that was inadequately guarded. The employee was able to reach the actuator for the gravity table by reaching over the current guard exposing him to an amputation hazard.
