29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a)Tim Kapperman Construction at 101 Winterberry Court, Crooks, SD 57020: On or about and at times prior to June 29, 2021, the employer did not ensure employees performing framing operations on a single-family home were protected from fall hazards. An employee was installing the double top plate on a lower level wall of a single-family home while working on the exterior top plate without an appropriate fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to an approximate 8-foot fall hazard.
