29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a)D & N Construction, LLC at 424 West 5th Street in Crooks, SD 57020: On or about and at times prior to June 29, 2021, the exposing employer did not ensure employees performing roofing activities at heights greater than 6 feet from a lower level were protected from fall hazards by utilizing an appropriate means of fall protection. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards in excess of 9 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
