Employees in this condition were exposed to a falls of approximately 23 feet.

Employees performing framing activities from the platform in this condition were exposed to a falls of approximately 23 feet.

The violation was most recently observed at site location 1005 Somerset Drive, Perrysburg, Ohio, where employees were not protected from falls over 24 ft. to the ground below. To abate this hazard the employer must ensure that all its employees performing framing work are protected from falls, and no employees are allowed to work above 6 feet without adequate fall protection.

Miller Family Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard (29 CFR 1926.100(a) which was contained in OSHA inspection 1394157, Citation number 1, Item number 1 and was affirmed as final order on 06/17/2019, with respect to workplace located at 882 Timber Wood Court, Waterville, OH 43566.

Employees were exposed to the hazards of eye injury from flying objects.  Miller Family Construction, LLC was previously cited for a similar violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard (29 CFR 1926.95(a)) which was contained in OSHA inspection 1394157, Citation number 3, Item number 1 and was affirmed as final order on 06/17/2019, with respect to workplace located at 882 Timber Wood Court, Waterville, OH 43566.
