1926.300(b)(3) One or more methods of machine guarding were not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are - barriers guards, tow-hand tripping devices, electronics safety devices, etc. A) Cherokee Crossing, Lithonia, GA; On or about June 30, 2021, proper guarding was not utilized while using a cut-off saw (TS 420) tp cut a ductile iron pipe between man hole 7 and 8, exposing employees to laceration hazards.
