29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a) Building Exterior Loading dock: Employees were exposed to eye/face injuries while cutting a concrete block wall using a hand held STIHL saw and were not protected with any type of eye/face protection, on or about 7/14/21.

29 CFR 1926.150(a)(1): The employer did not develop and maintain a fire protection program to be followed throughout all phases of construction and demolition work, and/or did not provide for the firefighting equipment as specified in this subpart:  a) V&L Construction Inc, does not ensure that employees have available firefighting equipment at the jobsite. This violation was most recently observed at 61-65 kuller Ave clifton NJ. The employer did not provide any fire fighting equipment at the jobsite. Gasoline fueled demo saw was used.  Extra gasoline to fuel the demo saw was stored in a gas can left on the loading dock, on or about 7/14/21.
