29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) On or about July 19, 2021, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards in that, they were not provided with adequate training on the nature of the hazards of the chemicals they worked with. Employees were unable to understand the hazards of the chemicals in the materials they worked with at temporary sites. DBS, Inc., dba Colorado Structural Repair was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1483881, citation number 1, item number 1c, and was affirmed as a final order on January 6, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 9276 Desert Willow Rd, Highland Ranch, Colorado 80129.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(2)(iii):The employer did not provide information to the employees as to the location and availability of the written hazard communication program and safety data sheets required by 29 CFR 1910.1200: a) On or about July 19, 2021, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that workers were able to readily access the written hazard communication program and safety data sheets; employees were exposed to chemical hazards in that, they were not provided with adequate training on how to obtain Safety Data Sheets for hazardous chemicals in use. The employer did not maintain copies that were readily available to employees for such chemicals as, but not limited to, Mel-Prime, gasoline and machine oil. DBS, Inc., dba Colorado Structural Repair was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1483881, citation number 1, item number 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on January 6, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 9276 Desert Willow Rd, Highland Ranch, Colorado 80129.
