29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. (a) New residential construction located on Lot #121, 3330 Ridge Hill Parkway, Douglasville, GA 30135, second level top plate: On or about 07/21/2021, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic framing nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees operating these tools at 120 PSI. Employees were exposed to flying plastic collated debris and 3-inch fasteners. (b) New residential construction located on Lot #121, 3330 Ridge Hill Parkway, Douglasville, GA 30135, garage: On or about 07/21/2021, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating a pneumatic framing nail gun, in that protective eyewear was not provided while engaged in framing activities. These tools were operating at 120 PSI from the air compressor.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: (a) New residential construction located on Lot #121, 3330 Ridge Hill Parkway, Douglasville, GA 30135, second level top plate: On or about 07/21/2021, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 19-feet, 3-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities using the top outer plates as a walking/working surface.
