29 CFR 1910.213(b)(3): Provisions were not made to prevent woodworking machine(s) from automatically restarting upon restoration of power after power failure.  a) Maintenance shop: On or about July 23, 2021, a Rockwell 10-inch table saw (model number 34-461, serial number JE-5026) did not have anti-restarter or similar devices to prevent from automatic restart upon restoration of power following an interruption in the electrical power supply.  This condition exposed employees to a caught-in hazard.  The U.S. Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.213(b)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1358922, citation number  1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on December 6, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2108 Halibut Cove Road in Sitka, Alaska.
